Western Australia is renowned for elite Chardonnay based wines and we have long sought to have our own representation of this queen variety, speaking more of vineyards, people and place. After a long search, a suitably ‘elite’ vineyard was found in Pemberton, with a unique microclimate and a predominance of clone 1, which we prefer over gingin in this region for it’s more consistent ripening.
In house style, battonage was limited to that necessary to assist the wild fermentation to dryness only. Bottled without filtering, fining or additions. 100% Grapes.
The Golden Triangle label is reserved for small parcels, where unique characteristics justify a micro-cuvée.
