Cabernet Franc was harvested from very heavy river terrace soils. Syrah from gravelly foothills loams.
A high proportion of whole bunch in the franc. The Syrah had extended post ferment maceration, using only 75% of the skins and seeds via screening of the pomace. A blend of the best barriques was used.
